Will Risperdal (Risperidone) help me sleep? I just got taken off of Seroquel cause it makes me impotent.

Yes, it can cause drowsiness, and sedation as a side effect, according to FDA reports. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, mood swings, and dry mouth.

My ex-husband was on it once and he actually couldn't stay awake, so he had to stop taking it.

How has it been working for you?
