Taking Pioglitazone, Metformin And Glimipride Together
UpdatedIs it safe to use pioglitazone, metformin and glimipride together for managing blood sugar levels?
Yes, they can be used together, though certain things do need to be monitored, so using all 3 is usually only done, when someone is having trouble lowering their blood sugar by any other method.
But taking all 3 together does create the risk of experiencing severely low blood sugar, plus taking the Metformin with the Pioglitazone could cause fluid retention, weight gain and edema.
