UpdatedPlease advise whether a woman of age 40 can take this or not? I'm having a problem with my teeth and it was prescribed by my doctor.

Yes, this is an antibiotic that is used to treat various types of bacterial infections. The NIH warns that it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash.
How are you doing? Has there been any change? Are you on any other medications?
