Taking Ecosprin During First Trimester Of Pregnancy
UpdatedMy doctor advised me to take Ecosprin 75 mg. From what I've read on the Internet, using Ecosprin in the first trimester is not safe, but now I'm 8 weeks pregnant... What can I do?

It is actually not safe to take during the third trimester, according to the NIH. Otherwise, you should follow your doctor's instructions, as it is sometimes given to help increase blood flow to the baby. The typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and stomach irritation.
Congratulations on the baby!
