I am suffering high blood pressure 150/84 and cholesterol. Can I take Ecosprin and Tazloc 40 together? Are there any side effects?

According to the University of Maryland Medical Center (umm.edu / drug interaction tool), there are no interactions listed between Ecosprin (Aspirin) and Tazloc (Telmisartan).

This does not necessarily mean no interactions exist, so I still think it's imperative that you discuss this with your doctor first. However, I do tend to trust the research stemming from universities of this caliber.

Also, if you are taking both meds together it would be particularly difficult to distinguish the origin of side effects that do occur as being attributed to either medication in and of itself vs a reaction that was caused by the two of them together. This is a large grey area in my opinion when it comes to taking two or more substances of any kind.

Have you already started treatment?
