I have been on this medication for about six months now and I have run out of refills. What signs should I watch out for until I get my meds refilled and start taking it again. Since I have stopped taking it My migraine headaches have increased and they are more severe.
What should I do?

I see this was posted a few months ago, how did things go for you?

There can be withdrawal symptoms from any medication that you've taken for a long period of time and with antidepressants, that can include rebound effects, which can be worse than the symptoms you started taking them to treat.

However, in the future, you should know that your doctor is allowed to phone in a refill, or partial refill for you on this, since it is not a controlled substance. Even if they want you in for an appointment, they can phone in a couple of days worth on a prescription, until you see the doctor.

Sometimes even your pharmacist will call and get them to authorize it for you.
