Taking Atorfit 10mg And Clavix 75mg Together
UpdatedMy medical report says "Atheromatous Plaque is seen near the origin of the right internal carotid artery". I am taking Atorfit 10mg once daily, along with Clavix 75mg as prescribed by my doctor. How long do I need to take this medicine and what are the possible side effects? I am 67 years old now.

Atorfit contains the active ingredient Atorvastatin, it's used to help lower cholesterol.
Clavix contains the active ingredient Clopidogrel, it's used to help prevent blood clotting.
Some side effects may include nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and joint/muscle aches.
As to how long you need to take it, that is something you'll need to discuss with your doctor. How bad was the plaque?
