My doctor advised me to change my medicine from Amlokind-L to Amlokind-AT as I have a sore throat without any apparent reason. So please advise whether I can take Amlokind-AT in place of Amlokind-L? My blood pressure remains at 140/80.

It is always best to follow your doctor's instructions on which medication you should be taking.
The NIH lists the typical side effects of this mediation as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, cough, increased urination, and hypotension.
Do you also watch how much sugar and fats you take in via your foods to help lower your blood pressure? Do you get lots of exercise?
