Taking 3 A Day....

I just started my 2nd pack of sprintec and I have been bleeding for over 10wks. I had an IUD removed prior to starting OCs. After several visits to the Dr they finally found I was bleeding due to the IUD causing me to have no lining on my uterus. The Dr said for me to take 3/day for 4 days then 2/day and so on until I start my period again. Is this normal?!

I have never heard of them being taken this way, but it would be best to follow your doctor's instructions, since they are specially trained to help with such issues.

They may just be trying to boost your hormone levels to stabilize your uterine lining to stop the bleeding.
