What is the dosage and active ingredient? Most medications that use Mox in the name contain the antibiotic Amoxicillin, but the duration of treatment and frequency they are taken depends on the dosage and severity of the infection being treated.

The medication can also cause side effects, such as: nausea, dizziness, diarrhea and skin rash.

Have you consulted a dentist?

If there is an infection, this medication can help, but it will not resolve the root of the problem, such as a cavity, that has allowed the tooth to become infected.
