Telmisartan 40 Mg

sir my mother taking eslo 2.5 mg from last 5 year her blood pressure is 135/95 , but now doctor advice her to take telma H (temisartam 40 mg and hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg). sir tell me what a difference between them and also tell me is there any serious ill effect on her. now after taking telma H her blood pressure is 120/85

Eslo contains the active ingredient Amlodipine.
