Caution is advised regarding using the Gabapentin with the Phenytoin in Dilantin, because it can increase the level of central nervous system depression and psychomotor impairment that they both can cause.

Has your doctor instructed you to use them both?

If so, they should be monitoring you closely and they have to take the dosage of both under careful consideration.
