Syrup Valparin Side Effects

My Child is 1 Yrs. 3 Months Old. She is recently suffring from A Typical Febrile Convulsions. A doctors advised to take a Sy. Valparin 3.5 ml one time every day at night sleeping time. So i request you please give me guidnies about any side effects of Sy.Valparin. Thanking you.

This contains the active ingredient Valproic Acid, it is an anticonvulsant that is also used as a mood stabilizer, its side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, weight changes and tremors.

My son is of 6 months.he is suffering from infantile seizures.His EEG nd MRI is abnormal.he has hypoglycemic at birth time bt now he is fine.Doctor suggests valparin 200 syrup 3ml dose day &night.Is this safe for my baby.

My son is now 1 year and 2 months old. he gets first fits when he's 2 months old.After EEG and MRI doctor suggest 1.5 ml dosage 2 times a day of valparin 250 mg.hes ok now no seizure and he can walk and stand should I stop valparin now?
