Symbicort Side Effects

I HAVE AN ITCHY, RED BLISTERING RASH ON BOTH SHINS. CAN IT BE CAUSED BY SYMBICORT? I HAVE COPD, EMPHYSEMA AND HEP C. I HAVE ALSO BEEN ITCHING QUITE A BIT, WITHOUT RASH, ALL OVER MY BODY FOR THE PAST TWO MONTHS. ANY IDEAS WHAT IT MIGHT BE RELATED TO?

Symbicort contains the active ingredient Formoterol and Bedesonide and yes, it has been known to cause both types of side effects, in some people. It can affect your circulation, which makes you more susceptible to allergens and it can also, sometimes, cause such rashes.

Have you consulted your doctor? You may need to switch to a different medication.

I have taken Symbicort for 2 weeks and I have the same blistering rash. I itch everywhere. I hope it goes away soon. It is very uncomfortable.

I have a red rash on my elbows and on my hands on my knuckles and between my fingers which looks awful I went to the doctor and he gave me cream twice and it is getting worse. I tried going back to ventolin but coughed too much had to go back to symbicort. does anyone have any advice.
