Friday I started noticing that my outside ear was starting to itch and then today I am swollen like a "boil" is growing. I went to the clinic and was given Allergex but nothing is helping.

How long have you been taking it? This medication is used to treat allergic reactions and it may take several days for it to reach its full level of efficacy in the body.
The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth.
Has there been any change? How are you doing, now? Are you on any other medications?
