Swollen Neck

my daughter is 11 years old and has a slight swelling where her thyroid glands are . it is not very obvious unless you look carefully. She is tall for her age and very fit and athletic, will this create any problems in future ? Should we worry about it?

You really should consult a doctor.

There is only one Thyroid glance in the body and swelling may indicate some type of problem. If that is the case, then it will be much easier on her, in the long run, if it is discovered now, so proper treatment can begin early.
