Switching Antibiotics From Doxycycline To Cipro
UpdatedI had signs of a UTI and had several 500 mg Doxycycline on hand from a long term antibiotic treatment back in Feb. So, I began treatment at two per day, called my doc and then he prescribed Cipro at 250 mg for 7 days. Now without speaking to him or the nurse, what should I do?

It is always best to follow your doctor's instructions.
The FDA lists the typical antibiotic side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash, headache, diarrhea, and drowsiness.
How are you doing, now? Has there been any change?
