Switched From Oxycodone 10mg Pink K56 Pills To Norco (Top voted first)
UpdatedDoes norco 5/325 have the same ingredients as the little pink pill k56 which is oxycodone 10mg? My doctor switched me due to the strength. The k56 pills are stronger he said and i needed a weaker pill to be able to work. So he prescribed me the norco. What i'm saying here is that are they the same, but different doses?
Lisa I am a RN you are wrong totally wrong.
NORCO is and always has been hydrocodone and I have a 4 year degree and am a published researcher.
Norco is hydrocodone with apap. Percocet would be oxicodone witb apap
No they are two diff type of narcotics as well as pills norco is hydrocodone and tylenol is the 325mg the 5/325 is 5mg of hydrocodone as many people are different most say hydrocodone is weaker n does not help depending on the pain level but the K56 oxycodone is much stronger as it contains only the narcotic oxycodone. Hope this helps.
First of all, learn how to write!
(Punctuation, spelling etc....)
Damn! Can't tell WHAT you're trying to say....
..better get back to class...Norco is a combination medication- hydrocodone plus acetaminophen
LISA YOUR AS WRONG AS WRONG CAN BE norco is not oxycodone its hydrocodone with apap. Back for a remedial updating course to add to your RN. Credentials lol
It helps if post are written clearly with correct spelling and punctuation.
It is a waste of time trying to "figure out" someone's post with many mispelled words.
Dr.J just letting the two year R.N. (dot dot) that I have a BS in Nursing which is higher then BSN more scientific preparation; also minus my injury was accepted into medical and legal school but my pain which has spread (brain inflammation) and now progressed to Central Pain Syndrome has left me in a position where it won't go.
Are you practicing pain management?
I along with 30 others (out of state) lost the famous Dr. F. Tennant out in California et al. new California regulations which hit the visitors from out of state more hardcore. I am an ultra rapid opioid metabolizer the 3% that are come from northern European background and happen to be female.
Thanks for the kind words!
Hello, nope, not even close. Oxycodone is much stronger than hydrocodone, also known as vicodan, norco, and several other names. Plus, norco has acetaminophen ( Tylenol ) in it. Oxycodone does not. Hope this helps, HOUSE
And you're point is? You should be ab;e to read through most misspellings if you are of at east average intelligence. I've been published in a dozen Peer-Reviewed medical journals and done editorial work on dozens of articles and treatises ultimately published in similar journals. If this primitive GUI could not be configured to permit EDITS, errors caused by quick typing could be caught and fixed. To say nothing of an AUTO-CORRECT feature that some 5th graders must have created for a Technology project? What is this REALLY about? Your subtext is dripping undeserved venom — and I really don't care what's going on in your unconscious and I concede the graduate faculties of Harvard and Cornell are better judges of the quality of my command of the English language than you are.
People it's much more chemistry then that.
1. HC is now a class 2 due to abuse potential but at best it was a cough suppressant for years found in mundane syrups.
2. HC like codeine turns to a morphine in the bypass liver system of metabolism.
3. HC is NOT better than Oxycodone for pain relief depending on abuse different people might have different opinions.
Drug conversion is tricky and no two conversion charts will attribute for the receptors in the individual brain. This is highly critical and sensitive to one's genetic filter and makeup.
If you're an RN you seemed to have gotten through school without learning how to read a prescription bottle. Norco is NOT oxycodone. It is hydrocodone and acetaminophen. Anyone on pain management knows this, or at least he/she should. Making such a bizarre statement then supporting it by saying you're an RN only confirms that you're an uneducated person who's trying to "pass" as someone who actually attended school and learned something. Good grief.
This thread is one giant joke, right?
No it's not Norco is hydrocodone that's what I am on lortab 10 mg is norcos that's what the bottle says so lord help where U nurse at
No norco does not help more than oxycodone. It varies in strength for some reason from company to company. The white ones made me very ill and extremely nervous. The yellow ones worked. Now someone tell me why this happened. The "they are the same" bulls*** is just that, bs. Oxycodone works effectively and no side effects.
No they are not the same. Norco is HYDROCODONE witch is derived from CODEINE which is weaker than the other which is OXYCODONE. The OXYCODONE is more powerful for people who have tried NORCO and have not gotten sufficient relief from their pain. Always discuss such problems with your doctor. They are both schedule II controlled opiates. 10 mg of OXYCODONE is stronger than 10 mg of NORCO. In short always discuss with your doctor the pain relief you get from the pain medication he or she prescribed for you and always be honest about the pain relief that it gives you. This will help your doctor manage your pain effectively and get you proper relief for your pain.
KvK Bio Tech is the pharmaceutical company that make the drug.
For a fact? ...Well that's incorrect Norco is Hydrocodone/APAP .... Percocet is an example of brand name oxycodone/apap
I am a CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) I know THIS for a fact...
