My Dr switched me from Norco 10/325 to 1/2 15 mg ir Morphine Sulfate... So basically 7.5. Am I going to go thru Norco withdrawal? Is 7.5 higher than Norco 10? I so do not want to be in more pain. She started me at 7.5 to see how I tolerate it. Thanks.

Norco contains Acetaminophen, and Hydrocodone, Morphine and Hydrocodone generally convert on a 1 to 1 basis, so 10mgs of one equals 10mgs of another. She has started you lower to see how you do on the Morphine, and you may find that it works better for you than the Norco.
The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, and headache.
