That is normal for some women taking oral contraceptives, some will skip periods, or not get any. If you're concerned, please speak to your doctor, but it's most likely nothing to worry about.
Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, irritability, headache, breakthrough bleeding and PMS-like symptoms.
