I have been taking methadone for 6 year every day as prescribed. Just got off two 3 weeks ago. Is it possible for methadone to stay in ur system for longer because I was on it so long? My po is saying I showed up hot for methadone after only 2 weeks of being off.

I've been told methodone is stored in body fat and in your bones and internal organs like any drug that Accumalates in your body like this after years of use it's possible even if your clean the body when active can release the methadone stored from years of use that's how we have relapses we taste our drug of choice in our saliva because it's released from your body after being stored in body fat you are now burning
