Susten 200 In Late Stage Pregnancy

My wife is 32 and she is 28 weeks pregnant after ivf. She was vomiting out whatever she takes after sometime, accompanied by intense pain in her back. The doctor has administered Susten 200 inj. I want to know why this medication is used at this stage of pregnancy?

Susten is a hormone that is vital to a woman's ability to maintain a healthy pregnancy and carry a baby to full term.

The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, and PMS-like symptoms.

Has she started taking it, yet? Is she on any other medications?
