Susten 200 Side Effects (Top voted first)

i am 7 weeks pregnent..it has been 2 and a half yrs since i got married.i had an ectopic pregnancy earlier.so,my gynaec adviced susten 200 tablet for 15 days..i have already taken 11 tablets..i have nausea everyday,not necessarily in the mornings but all the time.i feel very sleepy throuout the day and don't feel like doing any thing but to sleep..please let me know are these the side effects of the tablet?shall i stop having them?

I am 29 weeks pregnant (Third trimester). Last week i had spotting for which doctor prescribed progesterone injection and tablet -susten 100 mg twice daily first for 15 days but now she recommended to continue for next 2 months.
I would like to knw ....Is thr any side effects for taking this medicine in the third trimester as she recommended to use for period of more thn 1 month.

Susten is a formulation of a Progesterone hormone and having enough of it in your body is vital to a healthy pregnancy and being able to carry your baby to full term.

Since it is a hormone, yes, those side effects are quite normal, but they should taper off, once you finish your course of the medication.

Have you spoken to your doctor about your concerns?

Hello, I'm 28, married since 6 years. I've taken the contraceptive diane-35 tablets for 5 months this year from april to august as I've hormonal imbalance in the form of severe acne. We started planning two months ago and I'm 5 weeks pregnant now. My doctor has prescribed me Susten 200 for vaginal use. Doctor said everything is fine but I'm worried and confused whether I should be using it or not as I read online that it should be only taken in case of history of miscarriages which I've never had.
