Surgery After Subox
UpdatedI am having breast augmentation surgery on March 14. I have been on subox for 3 years. They tapered me down to nothing in 9 days..will I experience WD and will my post surgery pain pills work? PS....today is March 4th..

Yes, you may still experience some withdrawal symptoms, since that taper was rather rapid. The FDA lists them as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, rebound pain, depression, fever, chills and diarrhea.
And yes, by then, other opiates should be able to work to alleviate your pain.

Thank you for your reply. You were right. I did experience withdrawal but also my other pain pills work after my surgery. Thank you so much for responding it's greatly appreciated
