Sumapen 250mg

My 6yrs old child lately suffer frm tonsilitis which causes her fever.The doctor give her sumapen 250mg for a week.Is it ok to take d medicine even your stomach is empty?

my doctor gave me sumapen as a maintenance for my tonsil is it right ? then why pharmacist always asking me who would take it and why so many ? and they say it should only be taken for a month and its not once a day it must be 2-3times or it wont work ?
