Sulpitac And Dehydration

My wife is using Sulphitec 2 mg daily. Lately she has started drinking too much water, so much so that she starts vomiting. In a nutshell she feels so thirsty after taking this medication that she drinks a glass of water after every ten minutes.

That is very unusual, the U.S. FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including symptoms, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, somnolence, and weight gain.

I think it would be best that she consult her doctor to determine exactly what is causing the problem. Many medications can cause dry mouth, but not usually thirst to that extreme.

Is she on any other medications?
