I have this drug, but I don't know what it was for. What type of infection is this good for?

Did it work? I have a boil on my butt and it was bad, they gave me sulfameth. It is making me feel like crap and now I got vertigo. I was just wondering if it made u feel the same?

Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is a bacterium responsible for several difficult-to-treat infections in humans. Sulfamethoxazole is commonly used to treat urinary tract infections. In addition can be used as an alternative to amoxicillin-based antibiotics to treat sinusitis. It can also be used to treat toxoplasmosis.
