Sulfamethoxazole Trimethoprim Ds During Pregnancy

My dr sent me this medication, but I'm worried because all the info that I can find says that it is a risk for a pregnant woman, and I'm 27 weeks right now. My hemoglobin is low, please I need some information about it.

Did you consult your doctor, before taking it?

Because yes, it is contraindicated during pregnancy, breast feeding and in children under 2 months of age, due to some severe complications it can cause.

Hello, I was already planning on having a child when my doctor prescribed SMZ-TMP DS. At the pharmacy they informed me to practice abstinence during treatment. I had a reaction 3 pills into it and instantly stopped taking it, went to the ER. 3 days later I had intercourse. A month later I'm pregnant? What has happened to my baby? I read sooo much, if I take my prenatals will it help? I'm exactly 6 weeks today.
