Sulfamethoxazole Medication

I have started taking Sulfamethoxazole medication and only on it for 21 days.....it states no prolonged sun or tanning salon.......how long does this medication take to get out of your body.....I am going on vacation and want to do some tanning at the salon but don't what to fry either......any info would be greatly appreciated

You should likely wait about a week, once you finish such a medication, however, tanning is never good for you, because it always increases your risk of skin cancer.

The FDA lists the other typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
