Yes, it certainly can. I've experienced it myself. Mine showed up 9 days into a 10 day course and it lasted for about 2 weeks.

Once you get the rash with this antibiotic, you should stop taking it and you should make sure that your doctor and pharmacy lists it among you allergies, because there is a very high chance of experiencing more severe reactions in the future if you were to take it again.
This antibiotic is very bad for causing such problems very late into the course of treatment.
