Sulfameth Trimethoprim 800 Rash
UpdatedIs used to clear up rashes cause all im reading is side effects are rashes. how do u give someone something that is suppost to clear rashes that causes rashes.. i guess i dont get it.

Sulfamthoxazole with Trimethoprim, the active ingredients in Bactrim, is an antibiotic, it is used to treat various types of infections. This means that the only way it will help clear up a rash, is if that rash is caused by an infection.
And yes, it can cause a non-allergic skin rash as a side effect, however, these are usually very mild and they will go away, a few days after you finish your prescribed course of the medication.
Additionally, not everyone experienced the side effects of any given medication, so you may not get a rash from it, at all.
