Sulfameth Trimethoprim 800 160 What Does This Treat

I was hurt in a fork lift accedint it squeezed my foot and made it swell up real bad a week passed and new were the fork lift put more pressure at left a purple bruise which now the skin died it looks red purple around my toes and foot and the bruise were the skin died looks redish and something white and yellow in the middle like of the skin died looks like Venus skin or like I'm getting gangrene I want know what dis medicine will help fight ? Also the doctor gave me a tetnus shot plz any one help??

my husband was prescribed a10 day supply -2 A DAY-OF SULFAMETH/TMP 800/160MG FOR AN INFECTION IN HIS TOES HE IS A DIBETIC AND 86 YEARS OLD AFTER ABOUT 4 DAYS HIS URINE TURNED BLACK BU THE LAST 2 DAYS IT LOOKS LIKE PURE BLOOD SHOULD HE SEE THE DR AGAIN?
Is the aquatic SULFAMETHOXAZOLE / TRIMETHOPRIM 800/160 tablets for fish any different than and the stuff used on humans Because I haven't found a difference other than having to go pay for repeated doctor appointments to get prescriptions to pay more for the tablets in a different bottle.
I have been given this med sulfamethoxazole for low HIV count. Why is that? How would that bring your count up ?
