Sulfamethoxazole with Trimethoprim is an antibiotic, which is used to treat various types of infections and it is sometimes effective at treating MRSA.

Since MRSA is known to be resistant to some specific antibiotics, others must be used to try to eradicate the infection. However, there is no way to say whether or not it will work and cure anyone.

That is why MRSA is so problematic.

As to what is available to be used in other countries, I am sorry, but I really don't have that information. Have you tried asking your doctor or a pharmacist?
