Sulfa Trimeth Ingredients

My daughter has a staph infection and was prescribed sulfa trimeth. My daughter is very allergic to dairy. Can she take this med? Does it have dairy in it?

Hi Jr,

Sulfameth + Tmp does not contain any dairy products. At most, these types of medications can sometimes have corn starch, gluten, or other binders/fillers that provoke an allergic reaction.

If you happen to know the imprint on this particular pill I may be able to look up the exact inactive ingredients, that way you can be rest assured of everything your daughter's actually consuming.
