Been on Suboxone for about 2 years and I was wondering what Suboxone doctors take insurance for the visit in the state of Ohio? My doctor does 'Peoples Insurance'. If anybody can help me find a better Suboxone dr. or Subutex doc I'd greatly appreciate it, and I do have insurance. ## I need a doctor or Subutex doctor. I have been on Subutex for a year. My Doctor has retired, abruptly. I cannot find another physician willing to prescribe me Subutex (24 mg. daily) instead of Suboxone. I travel a lot w/ work. I would be grateful if anyone could tell me ANY Doctor anywhere on the East Coast that prescribes Subutex. Suboxone breaks me out in horrible itchy rashes and welts, makes breathing a little difficult and gives me blinding headaches- within ten to fifteen minutes of taking it. I am serious about recovery. Can someone help?! ## If you need a doctor in south jersey to help you get off oxy's and put you on subutex/suboxine - I prefer subutex because I got deathly ill on suboxine. The name of the place is addiction medicine. If you can't find the number post your number and I will call. Sorry I...

I can tell you where if you could let me know some pharmacies that are cool to go to. ## Does anyone know a pharmacy in Maryland or DC that will fill my Adderall without checking the state monitoring system ## Hey NHDL, sounds like you are part of the problem! Why would you be worried about the rx database if you were not hiding something? Seeing multiple doctors? Try...

Someone told me that as of July 1,2015 if u were being prescribed subutex that unless u were pregnant u would have to be put on suboxone ## I heard the same thing. Someone please give information. ## I think it's an odd thing for doctor's/pharmacies to start implementing. Especially since there are individuals with allergies to Naloxone, who just can't take Suboxone. I've yet to come across any specific details about this new policy, but something else I find interesting is that Actavis recently came out with a new orange Subutex tablet (153 imprint w/ a half moon logo) that I'm sure wouldn't have been prescribed to patients within the past month only to be switched to Suboxone '30 days later'? Something about that just doesn't seem right. I realize b...

My friend takes 8mg subutex and when he picked up his script today, they weren't the usual white tablet. They were white and the size of a 2mg subutex with an 8 on one side and an arrow on the other. Could his pharmacist have made a big mistake or are these just a different brand?? ## From what I can tell these tablets do contain 8mgs of Buprenorphine, the active ingredient in Subutex. They were originally released in the U.k. and then became available in the U.S. when the generic market for the medication opened up here. So yes, just a different manufacturer, they are made by Arrow, which explains the logo on the tablet, they use that on all of their products. Are there any questions or comments? ## Thank you so much! I actually did some research on Arrow Generics and saw that they...

What the difference between Buprenorphine with Naloxone and Buprenorphine without Naloxone ## Hello, Cynthia! How are you? That is the difference. once contains the Naloxone to help prevent the abuse of other medications, while someone is being treated with it and the other doesn't. Naloxone isn't safe for everyone, particularly pregnant women, or someone who is allergic to it, so a different option has to be available for them. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Can skmeone please help me bow do i take the subutex am i supposed to diss...

For my test at my doctor, it's a simple urine cup, where the results show up on the cup. 1. Will the naloxone show up or just the buprenorphine? 2. Will the level of the buprenorphine in my system show up on the test? *I am supposed to take two 8mg subutex/day, but all I have left is a fourth of an 8mg sub, and a fourth of an 8mg suboxone. Thank you for any serious answers. Please only provide an answer if you are absolutely certain of your knowledge of the subject. ## Just the bup will show up. Stop worrying about the goodie goodies of society. If they are half as smart as they think they are then they realize drug addiction is no different than cancer or ms or any other disease. You were born with an addictive personality and not one person says as a child I want to be a addictive...

I am on day 10 of a Subutex detox and I still feel kind of crappy and my head is really cloudy. I have to go for a job interview and I was wondering if anyone knew what would happen if I took an opiate to feel better for the interview would it affect my sub detox and set me back. ## No, it’ll make u feel a lot better. But it won’t hurt the detox. I detoxed once off of subutex using lortabs . It eases the narly w/d . Helps u get much need rest too. Pain meds. Aren’t crap to detox from in my opinion! I’ll take pain meds detox any dang day over sub w:/d you’re on the 10 where u seem to be in a still feel like craaaapp mode. You’ll linger there for another 2-3 weeks then you’ll start feeling better. But honestly you’ll have w/d periodically fo...

Looooong read. I warn you now :) Ok. PLEASE don't explain how it works or what it does. Save yourself the time. I am extremely familiar with how it works and what it does. But I have a question that's been on my mind for many moons, forever actually (10 plus years) and I can't seem to get a straight answer to it no matter how many times I ask it and where I ask it. I am asking it here for the first time. Just always get the usual, familiar rhetoric explaining to me how it works and where it binds and what it does, blah blah blah, but no one ever can explain the "why" behind all this wonderful science! And at the end have one first hand case PROVING what I'm questioning to be true. Ok so follow. So if buprenorphine is stronger than and has a higher affinity than l...

To the people that are prescribed the Subutex and were asking the chat board questions about: If you are not a pregnant or breastfeeding woman as of July 1st 2015 then you will be prescribed Suboxone or something else but never just plain Buprenorphine. As far as the orange Halfmoon generic Subutex, you take them the same way that you would take any other kind of subutex / suboxone; they are sublingual. ## What state are you referring to in the above comment? I'm a receptionist at a recovery clinic in PA we have not discontinued prescribing subutex. I have faxed or called in a total of 37 prescriptions this week alone. I think people come on the internet asking about different brands of drugs (not just buprenorphine) to see how other patients have reacted to the brand. Pharmacists c...

Hello, yes I've had problems filling just like everyone else. Then I found a WALGREENS that treated me AWESOME for 3yrs then my pain doc closed then reopened 3 months later I went back with my script and they would not fill. In those 3 months I took subutex from a doctor and filled at a PUBLIX so everything was all legit. Then I heard from a friend that he was mailing them 1,000 miles away to a mail order pharmacy and having great results. So I tried and for the past 4 months no problems I'm so grateful and lucky that all has worked out. And to answer your question there is no law that says you cant do this. I also live in South Florida ## Hello Rawdog, I'm glad that everything is working out for you. In case you aren't aware the laws for having your prescription filled ...

For the last three months or so I have been having trouble finding 54 411s at Walmart’s in Indiana. So I called Hikma which is who bought out westward. And was told that they are indeed still making the tablet but that they cannot force companies to buy their product. Then was told today by a pharmacy that they have ordered the med but that the distribution center they get them from will not fill the order for any generic subutex even tho they have them? I just can’t understand why they are doing this. So I wanted to see if anyone in Indiana has any info on a pharmacy that gets this brand consistently or one that will order in the med for me? I have been down the rabbit hole of trying different generics. They just do not do me right and the side effects range for each generi...

I want to start taking subutex 153 orange half moon shape pill in morning when I wake up. I took my last dose of opiates around 8 pm. Will I go into withdrawal? I am very scared that I will. I have done it before with suboxone and thought I was dying and it's something I never want to experience ever again. ## Hello, Lisa! How are you? Unless your doctor has instructed you otherwise, you need to be in full withdrawal, before you take Suboxone, otherwise it may throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals, again. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I am somewhat upset about a phone call that was made to my home phone about a week ago by the doctor office I go to for addiction treatment because now someone knows that I AM receiving addiction treatment services, where I receive those services and the medication I am taking for the addiction. Let it be known that I did NOT give this doctor office consent to talk to ANYONE other than myself about my treatment, EVER. I do have roommates that I don't necessarily want knowing information about my doctor's, medication or course of treatment, it is not their business. The doctor office called my landline number very early on a Tuesday morning and I was asleep so one of my roommates answered the phone. Later in the day, I looked through the caller ID and saw my doctor's office h...

My doctor just put me on subutex along with percocet. I've been on percocet for yrs for severe and chronic migraines. He told me to take the subutex and if it doesn't work to take a percocet. I usually take 15 mg percocet at a time. I've read some stuff online that worries me. Some people say if you take percs with subutex you'll go into withdrawals. I went through severe withdrawals with fioricet months ago and I don't want to go through that hell again. I took my first subutex about an hour ago and I still have a migraine so I want to take a perc now. Can I do that or will I get sick? ## I have been taking subutex for the last month or so. about 2 weeks ago i had a terrible migraine, so I took a 10mg percocet. I went into full withdrawal. The little subutex with the arrow do not work as well as the 54-411 big round white ones they are the best. I have taken subutex for a long time now if you ever come across the orange subutex shaped like a football they are garbage. I don't know what it is but they do not work I can take one 54411 and be good for the day. If it's the orange football ones or the small white arrow ones I can take three of those and still feel like carp at the end of the day.. ## hi I took the moon ones then they moved me to 54 411 they seem so strong should I just lower it down ? I use to have take 4 moon . Thanks

I've been trying to find a doctor that writes subutex for pain management and dont have to be preg or have hep to get the help you need. I was attacked by a police dog and was severaly injured. Had to have surgery and had massive muscle loss and hard to sometimes without my meds to even work. So if anyone knows any doctors in tri cities please let me know. Hate to ask as i'm a country boy but its gettin pretty rough. ## not right off the bat im sure there someone or thing out ther ## Good luck with subutex here bro. I used to get 4 subutex per day and 6 mg klonopin. Moved here and now 2 strips 4 mgs join they will make you have an allergic reaction in the office. Rashes don't count

I've been on Subutex 8mg for approximately 4 years. And through this process I have noticed a difference in the manufacturing companies that make these tablets. I can't even dispute these comments because I have backed them up with people I know that take the same medication for purposes of addiction. First and foremost do not take this medication 4 any other use then what your doctor prescribed it for. The number one clear favourites is the 54411 by West-Ward And the worst ones are the little small white tablets with the arrow on one side and the number 8 on the other side. Those are just terrible. The 54411 is A+ and the BP is A-. The BP white tablets are almost the same as the 54411. And they are yearly a newer brand. When I fill my prescription up every month I have a pharmacy

I have been on suboxin, and subutex for a little over 3 years now... but more subutex... and this past week when I picked up my script... it was NOT the same pill... it is a small white round pill with an arrow on one side, and and 8 on the other side... it is TINY.. like.. the size of a clonodine... I'm wondering HOW these small pills could still be 8MG when they are the size of a 2mg piece? and am I still supposed to take it under my tounge? i dont understand how the 8 MG subutex i have been on for so long are so big that I have to break a half in half and put it under my tounge, and then repeat with the other half? if anyone has any information that can help me... that would really be appricaited, especially how its a sunday, all pharmacies closed early, and im just so confused w...
