Been taking Hydrocodone now for about 10 years for back injuries. They don't work very well for me anymore and was wondering if taking Subutex would be something to consider if they can help with the pain. I never have enough Norco's to last the entire month.

Hello, Nick! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in pain.
Have you ever tried Oxycodone or Dilaudid? One of them would most likely be the next step, rather than jumping from Norco to Subutex. They are other options to discuss with your doctor. Subutex doesn't work well for everyone for pain.
According to treat he FDA,these are narcotic analgesics, and have the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
