Subutex Hard To Get Filled

It's been so hard to get them filled where I live in PA. The pharmacies r going crazy with their power. They don't take any new patients. Gotta live within so many miles, it's crazy. Like I need them or i become sick with withdrawals and they don't care but they will fill anybody's script for oxycontin or strong pain pills even if it's a young kid. It's ridiculous.

That's so true. What makes it even harder is that you have subutex and not suboxone. To the misinformed that sadly enough includes pharmacy staff they immediately see visions of addicts using this protocol for I.V. purposes. Now I'm not naive enough to say that doesn't happen to a fraction of users but they lump all users together and form a belief that these drugs lack medical effectiveness. It's so sad. When the dispensers of this beneficial drug see it as that how can we expect the rest of society to give us the benefit of the doubt? It's all about education. My hope some day this will happen because we have enough to deal with moronic medical and pharmaceutical professionals should not be our enemies.

I feel your frustration. I have a few clients in central NJ that have been forced to travel to extreme south jersey ( minimum 2 hr drive each way) to find a pharmacy to fill it for them. It's sad when pharmacy staff are the most significant roadblocks to proper education of this effective protocol.
