Cystic Fibrosis patient, long list of health problems! Switched to subutex several years ago, from and allergic reaction to Suboxone! Recently moved lost the doctor ihad been seeing! Have overcome many obsticals along the years, have a beautiful 7 year old daughter, that is the picture of health! And I need to be here to take care of her! I am her primary gardian and a lot of days are very hard! Please help me find a doctor to write my Subutex, it has been extremely hard for some reason!

I'm from Athens, OH. And I am trying to get a Dr. who just has an opening for a new patient. they are only allowed to treat so many.

I didn't see were you relocated to but I do know that different States have different laws about what they can write for example in Tennessee they only write subutex if you have hep- c or pregnant some doctors will write it if you say your allergic to suboxen but s.c will write what ever you ask for

I been on subutex for years now because any other suboxone products make me feel like I am dying. all of a sudden today my doctors office decided they can no longer prescribe subutex unless it has almost killed you and it is documented. I don't know what to do because I have done so good for years and I am terrified this is going to take me off track again because I am terrified to take anything else. I live in Cincinnati Ohio area can anyone help me please?

I have been on suboxone for a very long time and I just can not handle the taste and it also makes me sick. I tried the subutex and it works much better because it also helps with the pain and is half the price of suboxone, but I cannot seem to find a doctor in SWVA are in Kingsport are surrounding area's. I just want to find a good doctor to help me with my addiction that doesn't think that I just want to abuse subutex. That is a big problem in my area and it cripples the people who really could use the help. I am not worried about the price of the doctor. It's the price of the suboxone itself that is outrageous. They are 10 dollars a piece and even higher in some pharmacy's. Please help me to find a subutex doctor that isn't so judgmental. Not everyone is a junkie and some people do want help. Plus I have hep-c and the suboxone I have read is very unhealthy for my liver. Please someone in western Virginia or east Tennessee help me to find a subutex doctor. I need help fast before my addiction takes back over which is not a pretty picture, believe me. Thank you.

Needing a subutex prescribing dr in or near Joplin MO. After being on Suboxone dor 4 years and struggling with depression and migranes my dr decided to give subutex A shot. It has been a miracle. Now that I have moved away from MT I am in need of a new doctor ASAP! I only have 3 days left in my current RX. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I've been trying to get in with a suboxone doctor since mine is in jail on an abuse charge. I've been seeing him for 3 years and now all of his patients are dealing with the Same problem I am, not being able to find a doctor that will prescribe subutex ( I've had allergic reactions to suboxone) I live in central New York and been trying for weeks to locate someone, I've called multiple doctor offices.

What type of doctors have you been consulting?

If you require such a mediation on a long-term, ongoing basis, you'll need to see a specialist. I regular PCP won't be able to prescribe it for you.

Additionally, you can't call and ask doctor ahead of time about prescribing it, because they'll consider that to be drum seeking behavior. Thus, you'll need to go to an appointment with the new doctor, make sure the get a full copy of your current medical records and then discuss your treatment options at the appointment.
