Subutex And Opioids

My friend took a subutex at 6:30 this morning after not touching opioids since 5pm the night before. She had only been taking a small amount recently (so I'm told) but for a long period of time. After an hour she began to get the chills and sweats but nothing else like that full blown WD that is completely unbearable. Anyway worried about working in a few hours she had relapsed about an hour after the Tex.. I told her if the first one didn't help to wait an hour and take another; obviously she didn't listen so now what? Do we let the opioids run through their course then give her another Tex? Or just give her the Tex now that it's been almost 2 hrs? If not, how long till she can have another and is it the opioids making her worse? I thought that these would block just like regular subs.

My partner is on 8mg subutex and he is waiting on a colostomy anytime now. What other painkillers can be taken? He is in agony.

Hi Sara, Zubsolv has the blocker in it, unlike Subutex - so precipitated withdrawals are possible. Let me see if I can get back to you about how long someone should wait after taking a dose of an opioid before starting back on the Zubsolv. How's your friend doing right now?

I'm sorry, NOT subutex - She took Zubsolv... I know u can take subutex while opioids are still in your system before full WD starts, and suboxone is an opiate blocker, but I'm getting different answers about zubsolv.
