Subutex After Opiates

How long do I have to wait to take subutex after opiates, as i've heard you will withdrawal if you still have opiates in your system?

That is correct, you must be in full withdrawal, before you take this medication, otherwise it can throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals.

The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Well, I took a quarter of sub and was fine. No withdrawal or anything. And I felt much better.

My last dose of subutex was at about 6pm last night. At 2pm today I took a quarter dose, then at 4 took another quarter. I was still yawning and had extreme watery eyes so I took opiates. When can I take my subs again?

Hello, so I have been taking percocet 30's for over a year and now I want to stop. I have subutex and suboxone. I was wondering do I have to wait to go into full withdrawal to take the subutex? I was thinking I could take the subutex while in withdrawal so I don't feel like s***, because ppl have said you do not have to wait, and then after I have went through 24 hours of withdrawal I was gonna take the suboxone for at least a week and wing myself off? Can someone please help me and let me know if I have to wait to take the subutex or can I take it right away? Also how much should I use of the subutex? And how much of the suboxone should I use? I have the 8mg strips of the suboxone. Should I take half, or 3 quarters, or all 8mgs? Thank you.

I used to take 24 30s a day, went into rehab for six weeks and they were giving me 24 mg of subutex a day. When I went home i took a 8mg & cut it into 4 pieces; took one piece in the morning followed by one at night. Two weeks later i took one of the four pieces cut into two, did that for 3 weeks. One day i woke up and went the whole day realizing that i forgot to take a peace of subutex. It wasn't pleasant. I still had cold chills, night sweats, sometimes cramping in my legs and really couldn't eat much. All I could drink was water for almost two months. Then the last month i actually felt normal. I did it that way because i didn't want to be hooked on subs next. I really hope my story helps someone. I really know how hard it was. I had been prescribed 12 30s a day and after years it got to me taking two every four hours. I almost died from an overdose three times. It took someone putting a gun to my head because they wanted my pills for me to realize i needed help and didn't want to die. I wish all u the best.

No absolutely no subutex does not put you into precipitated withdrawal!!!!! I can do roxy I.v then instantly do subutex then do subutex again actually I just did it two min ago why I don't know I'm an addict but I had to share this, I also did they subutex Iv

You can take it 1 min after 3 hours after it's up to you bud as long as it's subutex that's a big deal no subs like the film or orange stop signs
