Subutex Doctor - East Coast - Help Me Find One Please!!!! (Page 7)

I have been on Subutex for a year. My Doctor has retired, abruptly. I cannot find another physician willing to prescribe me Subutex (24 mg. daily) instead of Suboxone. I travel a lot w/ work. I would be grateful if anyone could tell me ANY Doctor anywhere on the East Coast that prescribes Subutex. Suboxone breaks me out in horrible itchy rashes and welts, makes breathing a little difficult and gives me blinding headaches- within ten to fifteen minutes of taking it. I am serious about recovery. Can someone help?!
How much is startup? I Might actually consider travelling there.
Boston? That's way too far away for me to have to drive. I need to be near PA or the immediate surrounding states. Thank you for the info tho. I still am looking for one close to me that will not give me a hard time about prescribing and isn't going to kick me out at the drop of a hat. I am serious about my recovery but I am an addict still and I am bound to make a mistake somewhere along the line. I'm not setting myself up for failure, just being realistic. So if anyone knows of a good one that would be fantastic. As long as they are listed there is no problem with putting their name out there. They do it all the time to advertise and they are also on the Suboxonne website along with thousands of other DR's. You simply can't call them all so narrowing it down for me would help me out tremendously. 'Thanks so much for everything.
Wow.. taking someone off of suboxonne or subutex while they are pregnant is extremely dangerous!!! IDK what anyone thinks of you. But the stress alone might make someone miscarry! Wow. the fact that the fetus is developed means nothing if the mother can't handle the stress and metal withdrawl and gives herself a miscarriage! Don't even think about trying to come off till after the baby is born!
Can you please tell me as well. I am in desperate need of a Dr in PA who will prescribe Subutex. Suboxonne makes me break out, sick, nauseous, and can't breathe. I just can't do it. I don't understand why they keep pushing it. I think I might just start going to a methadone clinic if I can't find a good Dr. my email is {edited for privacy}. ;)
Very True, Especially the film, they are trying to push it, and even give you discount coupons for the pharmacy. Also why would it be so expensive in the fist place, check it out online it doesn’t cost so much to produce, around 25 cents for 8mg. Plus since it is so restricted, doctors can only have 100 patients at a time. For abuse, other selling it, I don’t see any reason as it doesn’t make you feel high, just straight from being sick, usually from other scripts given by the same doctors for people in pain.
Have you gone to anyone else in PA? If so who were they?
This is true but I think DR's get a kickback from prescribing Suboxonne which is why they all say they won't prescribe it. That and it's potential for abuse. Which IMO is insane as you can abuse anything. It really makes no difference. It's just a big money making scam. I mean, why would a Dr possibly want to help someone by prescribing them what doesn't make them sick or doesn't cost as much for people with no health insurance. Oh, I know, because they get money for prescribing something else.
There are several in Bridgeville Pa. So it would take days to figure out which one will help me. Thanks though.
So my email is in here if you can figure out which one it goes to. There are really only a few email carriers out there it probably is. You can try them all. I do understand you not wanting to put the name out there but if it's already displayed publicly online how could it be wrong. It's not like your true name is the one giving the info either. Try this. {edited for privacy} and tell me if that works. We can always report the post after to remove it.
Hour can I get my email to you or anyone on here privately for that matter? Answered to please help and star45. . I won't post any names but I have a current doc that may help... If you are allergic he's an understanding doctor. I was changed my first visit to subutex... All of a sudden my swelling resolved and I was soo much better.
Yes, I'm interested in the DR in Harrisburg. Please help. I also need Subutex not Suboxonne, I get very very sick when I take the suboxonne.
Who is your DR?
I've heard mixed things about this Dr. Teet. How strict is your Dr? I mean, were drug addicts, after all. How often do you see him and what type of diagnostics does he do for a drug check? Some of them cost so much more than others and some are done right in the office.
Who was your DR before. Some of us probably haven't heard of him or even been there so it's worth a shot for some of us who are new to the program to know of all these DR's who will prescribe Subutex.
Some Dr's will take you out entirely for just one. I've heard such terrible things and now I'm really worried. I am really new to the program and I probably still had drugs in my system from before I even started the program. It would be nice to know what type of diagnotics most of the dr's use.
I looked for this dr and did not find Innovative recovery systems anywhere on the internet for Coropolis Pa
Just my opinion but when I was prescribed this for pregnancy last year they xanthine legally just rip u off of it for one drug check. I mean Im sure they CAN but it's unlikely. I'm now prescribed subtext do to an allergic reaction with swelling of my hands and arm and feeling pains through my finger tips .. He mentioned when he switched me that it may be something related to carpal tunnel? Not sure exactly but anyway... I think you're in the clear. Try Jamaica Plains Boston
Dr. Blanchfield is the same way, one screw up with any drug and you are out, but since you are on Tex, I thought you couldn’t take any form of opiate anyway as receptors are used by Tex and you wouldn’t feel anything.
Very long drive, did you get monthly at least as most docs that give Tex make you come bi-weekly. Or may be because he was giving Ritilan also, as first the sub or Tex make me feel all right. Then the Tex made me tired and I needed to work/family so he tried Ritilan. Then dropped down on everything, so then I was depressed and tired. Started 24 mg per day Tex and 20 mg Ritilan, then went down to 4 mg per day Tex and 5mg Ritilan both of which I would cut in half-dose and do half in morning and half at night, around 7-8pm depending how I felt. Seems a lot of people split their doses so they don’t have to wait so long. I have been off for 2 months now and still feel so tired, still have to go back for UA’s but I always hear the nurses on the phone saying he is all filled up. So no chance for me to get back on, which is probably a good thing. Good Luck to you all, just get better and back on track.
