Subutex 8mg Oval Orange Actavis

I just switched from Suboxone 8mg(bup) 2(mg)Nal, to Subutex 8mg no Naloxone and they are the Activis brand. The SUBOXONE with naloxone WOULD LAST me 24hours. I've been on the Subutex now 2 days and I put the 8mg TABLET UNDER my tongue at 10am & by 6pm I start getting goosebumps I'm cold I feel jittery and just ugh I can't focus and I get off work 7 7:30 and I have had to take another 6-8 mg when I get home to make it comfortably through the night. But now at least I'm not throwing up every day sometimes twice a day... the naloxone made me super sick but now with this Subutex I need 16mg every 24 hours.... but the naloxone made me zombie like and I just felt depressed all the time. So if I have to take 16mg every 24hours for now I guess I will. I wish Subutex was available in film so my body would absorb it better I feel like there's a decrease in absorption with the Subutex tablets so I'm probably not even getting the full 16mg... I don't know but I thought I would share my story...

Subutex is available as a film, so is Suboxone. Have you asked your doctor about prescribing it?

The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.

It may take a little more time for your body to adjust to the change. How are you doing, now?

Unfortunately where I live the film is not available, I had to switch back to the suboxone because the Subutex wasn't not helping take away the cravings. Since you know addiction is the problem here. Thanks for responding. My doctor thought that the Subutex was available in a film but it's not, not in Albuquerque, nM anyway
