I tried to get insurance with blue cross but they said not because of my drug history. My parents have been helping me buy my suboxone at $8.00 a piece. I would like to know if anyone knows if there is an insurance company out there that would insure some one on suboxone or am I going to have to go thru my whole life without insurance. Also do you think this is considered a pre-existing disease? ## Rhea, my daughter has Anthem, we live in Ohio, I don't know if that will help, but I've been where you are, pills here are 7.50, drs. visit $200, she pays $20 for the dr. 40 for the pills. I hope this helps but I can't be sure. Good Luck to you. ## Yes, getting insurance, when you're already known to have an addi...
Been taking suboxone 8mgs for months now and finally found a doctor so I don't have to buy them the hard way. I've been cutting way down and was able to fill my script but I'm worried that the test can show how long I've been taking them or does it just show how much I take? I didn't tell doctor the way I was getting them for obvious reasons, and I'm worried about losing him cause he's really nice and cares about my health.
UpdatedI have chronic pain issues. Numerous injuries, a spinal growth and advancing arthritic conditions have my left side barely ussable. I am permanently disabled at 44 and under the care of a pain management center. I was prescribed loritab/norco about 2 yeArs ago and of course the dose went and the tolerance built and by summer of 2014 I found myself taking 4 10's per day...and of course that wasn't enough so I found myself running low every month and spending the week or so before refills in extreme withdrawals. So I went to my general family doctor and started a Suboxone program and called the pain center and told them I didn't want Norco anymore and thought I as doing a good thing. But I forgot about one thing....the God awful pain. I have been on suboxone for about a month ...
I need help I just moved to the dallas texas area and I need to find a doctor that will prescribe suboxone I have been on it for years because of back pain I am almost out of my Prescription and don't know where to go ## Hi, Go to the suboxone website. You,ll see a search engine thing where you enter your zipcode, it,ll show sub drs in your area. Some phyciatrists can prescibe subs and I,ve read some pain drs can also. Good luck. ## Thank you very much hopefully I can get the help I need ## Did you ever find the help you needed? I just moved here and am out for last five days. Any help would be appreciated
Hi! I am on suboxone and I find it difficult to speak to just anyone about it. My family and friends don't know I'm on it. Reason being, I wish not to be judged. So, sometimes I feel all alone. I can relate better to guys than women. (And, NO, I'm not a guy!) LOL! Just want to talk about suboxone and relatated issues. Please, no wise crackers or jokesters. ## Hello, I'm a male in the same situation. My family is intolerant and narrow minded. I can't speak frankly to them about any of my problems. Since I was a kid, they treated me like an outcast. I became the family scapegoat. In elementary school, teachers sent them letters that my compositions indicated that I needed to see a psychiatrist. So my parents sent me to a psychologist but never considered that they also...
Hi I've been on suboxone for 18 months now, have never had a dirty urine in this entire time and today I saw my gp and he informed me I tested positive to benzos? My past habit was opiates, I can't understand how or why i tested positive! I've not taken anything but my prescribed avanza and my subs. So confused this has never happened before. I started on 32mg I'm now down to 2mg every second day, I've worked hard to get here n I'm shocked with this result. Any info or help would be really appreciated :(
UpdatedI started taking suboxone in early June. 8mg/2mg strips. 1 1/2 a day. I didn't find out I was pregnant till around 14 weeks. That's a completely different story but luckily baby is safe due to being on birth control for about 7 weeks of me not knowing yet. Anyway I wanted to get off the subs so I left message after message for my OB and heard nothing back. I finally went in for my 18 week ultrasound. When I asked about OB about what was going on he seemed very confused. He has known about the suboxone but had no clue about me wanting to get off the med because the nurse never gave the messages to him. He advised me to stay on it for the safety of the baby. He said chances are he won't have withdrawals after birth but just incase it is easier for him to treat outside the womb...
I've been on klonopin and suboxone for years. As long as you don't abuse them and take what the dr tells you to, you won't have a problem. It can and will be death if you abuse them. Hope this helps. ## @brian, You have a good point. Self control goes a very long way. As habit-forming as something like klonopin is, continuing to adhere to your doctor's regimen can be the biggest difference between becoming a fully fledged addict or remaining a normal patient. I know those are just labels, but it really is a delicate balance that one must maintain over the duration of treatment or course of several years, as you can vouch for. Glad to hear that you're still finding them both to be beneficial and not detrimental after all this time. Take care!
i have been going to the same suboxone clinic for five years now and i ran out early last summer and i took a few tramadol before my visit to ease my pain. the thing is i HAD NEVER BEEN TESTED IN FIVE YEARS!--so you can imagine my shock when they were suddenly asking me to come shove a stick in my mouth... and the thing is any other year i would have been good to go, no other drugs in my system other then my suboxon and klonipin. needless to say the tramadol did show up in my system and that was ALL THAT SHOWED UP unfortunately because after running out of suboxone i had to go through my klonipin faster to attain some level of comfort. so after some fancy footwork, phonecalls and time, they agreed to see me again and i was fortunately, able to talk the doctor into giving me another chan...
UpdatedSo I quit opiates on my own and chose suboxone to help with pain... fast forward a few yrs and ive learned its actually fibromyalgia and herniated discs and arthritis giving me all of the pain. Problem now, drs keep passing me off to other drs. Nobody will help me. Im tired of being treated in a poor manner when im in massive pain and can hardly move or walk. I don't know what to do anymore. ## Where you taking Suboxone from an addiction treatment doctor? If so, then that would explain the problem. Doctors are going toe very reluctant to prescribe anything for someone that has an addiction issue listed in their medical records. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and co...
All I know is it is pinkish/orange - 4 or 5 sides - possible something to do with heroin - the only marking on the pill is N8 ## it's suboxone....an opiate addiction maintenance tool...it's preferred to methadone maintanence.. ## Suboxone actually contains two different meds to treat addiction, this one has 8mgs buprenorphine and 2mgs naloxone. The Naloxone prevents the buprenorphine or other opiates from working if you try to crush this pill to snort or inject it, or if you try to take other narcotics with it. ## Well i kno someone that IV's and insufflates suboxone 8/2mg. It still works just as good as dissolving under tounge.
I've been finding suboxone on the street and it would be so much easier to find a suboxone doctor. I live in Madison Alabama and I know there are doctors here but I can't find any taking new patients. If anyone knows who is taking new patients and does the suboxone program, please help.

I finally have an Induction appointment to start Suboxone Treatment. I had an "Orientation" appointment today which is just signing all the papers an learning about Suboxone Treatment. When I was leaving my appointment today, they scheduled me an appointment for tomorrow (Friday) to see the Doctor for Induction at 10:40am. I later called the Suboxone Clinc Office where I was at and asked them how long my appointment should take because my fiancé works so I have to have my brother take me. They told me they couldn't say for sure. I asked them if they could give me an estimate, would it take 1 hour or 2-3 hours? They told me it would definitely not take 2-3 hours, and they said it would probably only take around 20 minutes. ?? Oh and when I left the office I asked the wom...
I'm in an out patient treatment center. And they do drug test in there. They send it out to the lab. So I was wondering do they test for suboxone when it's sent out to the laboratory? Someone please let me know as they are testing me tomorrow. I'm also on probation and they don't test for suboxone and its a 12 panel test is the lab the same kind of test or a more extensive tests?

little white pill was told it's a subsitute for suboxone need to know very soon ## Hi Bino, Based on my research, what you were told is correct. The white round pill you're describing with a big 7 and small 5 is identified as a Zubsolv tablet containing 5.7 mgs of buprenorphine + 1.4 mgs of naloxone. This medication is basically another brand name for Suboxone used for opioid addiction/dependence. It's listed as being manufactured by a company called Orexo, here in the US. You can also learn more about this drug on the page for Zubsolv Details I hope this helps!
I have been taking pain pills for 7 years. I detoxed myself off Methadone and I almost had a heart attack. I started using when I was 23. I hurt my back, broke my tail bone, then at 25 I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Now at 28, 13 surgeries later I'm addicted. I want my life back. I did detox myself once and for 6 months I was clean. The pain associated with detoxing was horrible. My chest hurt, my heart hurt, my legs, back, neck you name it. I have an enlarged kidney and I had a kidney stone that had to be surgically removed. That's all she wrote. I am a single mother trying to make it in this world. I have fought to save my life. At 21 I contracted an infection from a hospital after giving birth to my son. 8 days on IV antibiotics saved me, only 3% of people survive what ...
If you are prescribe suboxin and at the pharmacy you use your insurance can your parents find out.. I'm lookin to be descrete as possible and I am still on my parents insurance.. If i use my insurance to pay for my prescription will my parents find out yes or no? Please let me know ## I am not an expert, but I think your parents might get a paper in the mail, confirming that their insurance was used. That's what happens in my case, everytime I use my insurance card for subs, they send me a paper showing what it was used for. I don't know if this will help. Good luck to you, God bless you. I wish you the best. ## I have blue cross/blue shield of Tenn. and I don,t get anything in the mail, at least not yet. Been on subs for 7 weeks. I might be able to find it if I went online ...
I am addicted to opiates and have been for about 7-8 years. I have already started the process of Suboxone treatment at a Suboxone clinic. Where i am going you have to see the Doctor 1x per month, the therapist every 2 weeks, and group therapy 2x per week. I had an appointment the day before yesterday (Nov. 4, Tuesday) and I seen the therapist who explained everything to me and asked me everything about myself. Then she scheduled an appointment for me to see her again on Nov. 17. They also scheduled me an appointment for today (Nov. 6 Thursday) to see the Doctor. I was under the impression I would see him and after everything was done he would start me on Suboxone today. Well he didn't. I went in, mind you I was in moderate withdrawal, and he asked me practically the same questions ...
