I go to a suboxone clinic for an opiate addiction for two years now. I have never had a positive drug screen for anything other than suboxone. Two weeks ago I started taking two dietary supplements for a severe case of neuropathy in my feet and lower legs. I am on 3 suboxones a day the highest dose. 1 mg of klonopin 3 times a day and 100 mg of lamictal twice a day. Is this safe? And what are the side affects. I find I am lathargic, high, extremely tired and get the nods and slurred speech. I feel high as a kite and fall asleep very easy but don't want to end up im a coma. Is this normal? Hi, Just started on suboxone yesterday and had a couple questions.. Started abusing lortabs about 6 years ago after several failed surgeries... About a year ago, I switched to 30mg roxys..... in April I Did 28 days in rehab, stayed clean about a month before relapsing... About a month or two ago, I started doing the dreaded "H" because of the cost. Was doing about a point or two a day sometimes alone and sometimes I'd take a few roxys with it.. Anyway, did last of the H (a point) on Saturday (today is Wednesday) and 2 roxys on Monday.. Was able to get 5 - 8mg sub strips and took about 2.5 mgs of one strip last night around 6:00. Was soooo scared about precipitated withdrawals so I waited a full 25 hrs after last roxy before I took strip. It was definitely hell waiting it out...

I'm taking a sixth of the 2mg strip of suboxone.i want to know if i can take anything to help with the future tapering im gonna do. In many cases, they prefer to just taper it very slowly to prevent withdrawal symptoms, rather than have to prescribe more medications to treat them. I am prescribed to suboxone and my husband just got prescribed prednisone but he's allergic and the past 2 winters I have gotten sick and my asthma caused me to be hospitalized. Therefore, since my husband wasn't taking it and I have before, I took them because I was sick and my asthma was acting up. I have a drug screen tomorrow and I am wondering if it will cause a false positive. I'm worried about me doctor being upset about me taking my husband's prescription. Please someone answer asap

I have been going to a suboxone clinic for 2 weeks. I take my suboxone religiously on a daily basis. During my most recent visit, my sub Dr told me that buprenorphrine showed up in my drug screen but that nalaxone did not show up in it. He also told me that he thought I could be putting a piece of suboxone in the urine I have been submitting for testing, which is absolutely not true. So what has caused my test results to turn out like this? Could it be due to the fact that I'm administering it in other ways than prescribed?

If anybody can help me please. I just moved to SC from CT. I've been on Suboxone 24 mg for a year now. I'm going to be out in a few days and I'm a weak, weak person when it comes to wd's. I have called everywhere, I've been on every site imaginable to find a suboxone doctor and I have no insurance yet and most docs here want $200 or more plus the cost of suboxone. It seems that most docs here only care about the $$$$ and not the recovering addict. I have a 15 month old daughter to take care of and doing that and withdrawing for 2 weeks is impossible. OK I'm allergic to sulfur drugs, and I was taking Suboxone and kept getting sick. When I spoke with my pharmacist about it he said its because Suboxone as a sweetener in it, and that if u are allergic to sulfur drugs, you will be allergic to suboxone too. Has anyone ever heard of this? ## Hi bee, I haven't actually heard of sweeteners that contain sulfur until reading this post. But the only one I found (known as Saccharin), is classified as a sulfonamide. In light of this, I think it's always a good idea to research each inactive ingredient just as throughly as the active ones, to ensure preventative measures against certain allergies. Did the pharmacist mention which type of sweetener they used?

I have been taking subs for 4 yrs off the street.now i am in a program to eventually get my own prescription. The catch is i have to have all bup.out of my system b4 doc will write script..here's my question: if subs have a 36 hr half life snd ive been on them everyday for 4 yrs how is it even possible to b out of my system in a few days? Does it build up over time? Or is it legit 36 hrs after last dose? ? PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN ## It will take about 3-5 days to get outta your piss. I am currently in my 4th month in a methadone clinic in Menlo Park Ca. I have less than 55 days to go. I am down to 20mgs of methadone a day. I do not have medical insurance, but would like to know if I am able to get a prescription for Suboxone. I was treated 7 years ago by Dr. Glatt. San Mateo Ca.
