I have been take 1/2 of 8mgs of suboxone. I tried cutting back on my own and went into withdrawals, only because I was going to a heart Dr and did not know if he was going to do a procedure, which he did not. I told my Dr about it and now she wants me to go from a 1/2 8 milligram to cutting the half into. 1/8 that's how I went into withdraws . I don't know what to do. Janet. ## Hello, Janet! How are you? I have been taking the white half moon subs for 3 months now , and today I picked up my script and realized a Roy d orange colored pill , none the less , this me generic sub is even more disgusting then the half moon pill and feel as though they do not work... I used to take methadone primarily. Before that perks. My access was to liquid methadone. I would take approx 25 mgs in the morning and an additional 10-15 mgs at dinner. Enough was enough and I got in a suboxone program. Now I know opinions will vary on the best way to get clean. I feel this is currently my best option. I run a store, working 60+ hours a week, 6 days a week. Unfortunately I've already missed 4 days due to the flu and being dope sick. I was suppose to get my script for suboxone last night but the pharmacy messed up. So I ran out and got 2 perk 15s. I took one at 12:30 to help me sleep. Hello, I have been taking Subs now for almost 2 years and it has been an absolute hassle trying to find them from different people at different and much needed times. I have Aetna insurance and I have heard things like I can't be using suboxone already for me to get on them or they will not cover it. Is anyone recently familiar with Aetna and suboxone? I've taken them for almost 2 years. I am finally almost off them completely and have started nursing school. We take random drug tests and if you fail your removed from the program. I need a Suboxone Dr. in the Huntsville/Madison, AL area asap. I am already on suboxone, but it looks like my doctor may be leaving the area and I really don't want to go to a random Dr. just to find out he's awful. I am trying to find out if someone allergic to opiates (yet is seeking assistance for opiate addiction) would have a good chance of being allergic to Suboxone/buprenorphine? Technically, suboxone and subutex are classified as narcotics, but being partial does anyone think the same allergy would be triggered? ## If they have a genuine allergy to all opiates, then they will most likely also react to this one, there is no way to know for sure, unless they try it, though. Mother of 3, I work, i pay for my insurance even though it is HIP, at least I work! Need to find a legitimate doctor who accepts bcbs through Healthy Indiana Plan as close to Bloomington as possible. And hopefully one who won't make me do N/A meetings, again, mother of three!, but I do attend counseling once a month. I'm on 10 mg methadone 4 times a day now and going to start suboxone but the doc said i have to take a drug test and my levels had to show up less then 60 in my body how many a day can i take to get below that 60 on the test? ## To properly use Suboxone, you actually have to be in the beginning stages of withdrawal, that means severely dropping your Methadone. I am not sure how much that would be in a day, did your doctor give you any instructions? ## My husband says he is leaving me cuz he cant take dealing with me and my addiction any longer. So i got 2 8mg/2mg strips to try because i have a slight dependency to vicodin which i normally take 15 to 30mgs of a day for a little over a year for chronic skeletal back and neck pain do to sever early on set arthritis. So my question is if i take these 2 strips for the next 2 days (one per day half in the morning and the other in the afternoon/night before i go to bed so i can not be in pain when i sleep) how long after i take the last suboxone will an opioid drug like my vicodin, be able to start working in my body again for relieving my body pain? ## Well first, you need to be aware that you have to be in full withdrawal, before you take Suboxone, otherwise it can throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals, according to the NIH. If I take suboxone can I drink everyday detox teas? It says it's suppose to be healthy for the liver and I wanted to try it. ## Since they are supplement products, they are not checked for possible issues and interactions with actual prescription drugs, so I'm sorry, but I don't have information on this for you. Additionally, you should be informed that there is no medical or scientific proof behind detoxing your body or liver using any of these products, according to the AMA. Your liver and body does its own thing to detox itself and there is really nothing you can do to change the process. That said, there is likely not harm in drinking the tea, though you may want to double check based on the possible ingredients, but all you will really be doing is enjoying a cup of tea....

It is actually classified by the FDA as an anticonvulsant that can help with certain types or nerve pain and some mood disorders. I've been off norco and oxy for about 5 days now but I've been using a butrans patch to help with withdrawals. I have my first appt. with a suboxone doctor tomorrow. Can I start suboxone while on butrans since it's the same medicine? I have been on a suboxone program for 3 days @ 16mg a day. What will happen if i have a 100mg shot of morphine sulphate? I have previously been told that i need 5 times the amount of morphine as i take of suboxone. So 16mg dose of suboxone means i need at least 80mg of morphine to jump the naloxone? Is that true? And can i take the 100mg shot of morphine without any dramas?
