hi, I'm 21 years old and got into the habit of shooting up heroine. I was wondering how long it would take for the withdraw symptoms to go away if I use soboxone to get off of the heroin. I was doing suboxone before and actually got addicted to that also. Nd then I couldn't get any suboxin so I was really sick nd I ended up getting heroin. I only did heroine for about 2 weeks. I have been taking 60mg of Morphine daily for a year. This past week I took 3-4 8mg Dilaudids daily. Last night I went back to 60 mg Morphine. This morning I took 6mg of Suboxone and was in withdrawal 20 minutes later. I had to take a 1 mg Xanax and fell asleep. I am worried about tomorrow. I have no more Subs but I do have a 60mg Morphine. If I stop taking suboxne for 11 days will I pass a urine test for probation ## I'm on probation and unless they are specifically testing for it, it doesn't show at all. I've never failed urine screen and been taking subs for 5 yrs

I have been running low on my pain meds the past several months. Last month I took 4 mg suboxone on Sunday and it showed up positive on urine test on Thursday. This month some of my meds were stolen and I ran out even earlier. I got dope sick and took half of an 8mg strip of suboxone. I took 2 mg one evening and another 2 mg the next morning. I have my monthly appointment at pain management clinic this Wednesday morning (15 days after the last 2 mg suboxone taken). If I test positive for suboxone this time they will kick me out of program. I am in Indianapolis. Is it hard to find a doctor here to prescribe suboxone? I am having a hard time finding a doctor. I have been on pain killers for years and not only want to get off them but my doctor and the whole practice is starting to deny any prescriptions for narcotics which seems to be the norm here now. I have legit pain but I would rather deal with it then be treated like a drug addict by doctors! I have tried tapering and cold turkey. I think subs are the way to go. Hello, I have been taking about 1 mg of suboxone off and on since February (about 2 months). I was dealing with withdrawals from Percocet so I took the Sub to help temporarily. I quit the Sub last Monday (8 days ago) but over the weekend the pain and emotional aspect of quitting became basically unbearable. So I took about 20 mg of Percocet on Friday/Saturday split up. My question is, how long should I wait to see my primary care physician to request a new prescription for my Xanax? I believe I will have to do a UA the day I see him, and I am absolutely not supposed to have either Sub or Percocet in my system. That's why I quit the Sub cold turkey 8 days ago. Plz help. I want to stop taking heroin...I have 17 8mg/2mg suboxone strips...I can only go about 12 hours without doin H before I want to give in and use..would I be ok taking half a strip 12 hours after my last shot, then the other half a couple hours after? I'm on the suboxone program and I gave a UA today and it came out positive. For what.... Idk. They don't say, they just send it to the lab. I take a series of medications like Keppra 1000mg, metformin 500mg and ibuprofen 800, but along with those the only new things i started taking are Bactrim DS 800/160 mg, clindamycin 300mg and hydrocortisone cream USP 1%... Can any of these cause a false positive?

I am currently undergoing Suboxone therapy , with the film. I am on a stable maintenance dose and live in TN. I am looking to move to Louisville KY and wanted to know if the laws are different for how the medication is prescribed, I.e. others have indicated KY doctors do not like to prescribe for maintenance vs weening therapy. This medication has changed my life for the better. I am fully functional and working and alive again. I don't want to have to worry I will be kicked off the medication by moving. Please Advise.

Hi all. I'm desperate, please. I've been on prescribed opiates for the past 6 years for Chronic Pain. I'm starting to become extremely emotionally addicted to them, so I chose Suboxone. I was there for my first doses today - 2, wait an hour, then 4, then go home. Things were fine for an hour, then I started nodding off and had to put myself to bed, where I've not actually slept, just drowsy as. It's awful. Took 10mg of suboxone ending at 8:30pm and 5 hours later I'm still feeling effects to the point of being uncomfortable. How many hours until this wears off? ## What specific effects are you experiencing? The FDA lists the typical ones for this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. It also carries the risk of being habit forming. Was this medication prescribed for you?

Id like to know how long 8mg suboxone fillm can be detected in a urine screen. I have been taking pain meds (oxycontin, vicodin and soma) for well over six years due to multiple hip revisions, back to back staph infections and recently I broke my low back at L3, L4, L5 resulting in a lumbar spine fusion from L2 thru S1. The pain from the back surgery is so great I will double up or even triple the opioid pain meds causing me to run short before the due refills. On a Tues, Wed and Thurs I did one 8mg Suboxone per day and now have an appt with a pain mgt Dr the next Thursday the following week. there is a generic Suboxone out now. they begin shipping them to pharmacies the last week of February. also, if you have any type of insurance you will automatically get the generic suboxin. The doctor has no say in whether you get the name brand or generic really. even if he writes a prescription for suboxone, the pharmacist will automatically give you the generics if you have insurance. if you don't have any insurance, you can ask the pharmacist to give you generics because they are cheaper. Plus, R and B has stopped making the name brand suboxin pills. they are only making be films now. Ok so here's my problem... I And a 27-year-old woman weighing about 100 pounds. I have probably been using heroin for the last year. I've decided I'm done in no longer want to live that life. I've tried Suboxone one and it sent me into complete withdrawals. I have enough to last me about three weeks right now. After what I've been reading you need to be in complete withdrawal in order to take it to make it work. Been on suboxone for 4 1/2 for oxy addiction. Funny enough I now have lupus. Doc put me on norco even though I said I on subs by different dr. He said switch should be fine but im taking twice recommended amount to ward off w/ds. 3 days in and wondering how long I will icky?? ## I switched from around 20 mg of suboxone to to 6 10 mg norcos a day about 25 days ago. I was on the suboxone for about 6 months. And even after 25 days I still cannot sleep, I go through withdrawels at night and the norcos still do not work as good as they should. Getting back to tramadol and suboxone... I was put on tramadol hcl 50mg by my primary doctor. He started me out with 3 tramadol daily, now he dropped it to 2 a day. My question is, he said it was safe to take w/ my suboxone (i've been on sub about 15 years for opiate addiction), and he said Tramadol is the only pain med that you can take (strong enough to give my lower back some relief) and safe to take w/ the suboxone. But i think I'm now dependent on the tram, i get the sweats, body aches, all the same withdrawal as w/ opiates, and i still take my suboxone which don't seem to bother me. I am having the same problem. My drug of choice was synthetic marijuana but I keep getting false-positives for suboxone. I have never in my life taken heroin or suboxone. I was kicked out of substance abuse treatment because of it. This is f***ed up. Example: On 7/10/2015, I gave a urine sample to my new treatment center as well a urine sample to my primary doctor. Treatment center result was positive for suboxone and the doctors result was clean thru and thru. ## Are there any drugs prescribed or otc that can cause a positive for subutex ## Froggie, Yes there are but you will need to google it.
