Suboxone To Methadone, Time Between

The time period between taking only one Suboxone sub film and going back on my methadone 10mg. How long to wait?

According to the fda..There is no set time between taking suboxone to methadone and vice versa. It solely depending on many factors that differ widely between patients. Most addiction specialists agree that a patient must be in mild to moderate withdrawal to switch between the two drugs. This may range between 8 hours to 5 days after the last dose. Many doctors specializing in addiction wait 3 days (72 hours) after there is no trace of said drug found in a drug panel.. This is becoming standard protocol in many states. My conclusion is this: only you know your own body and how long after suboxone that you feel chills, fatigue, sweats, and nausea. Once feeling these symptoms go as long as possible before taking any narcotics.
