Suboxone After Percocet

I'm on 4 mg suboxone daily. I ran out early this month so this morning I took one percocet ten. I keep reading how you need to wait to take suboxone so you don't withdrawal bad but what if I'm not addicted to nothing but the suboxone? Do I still need to wait if it was one perc or am I OK to take my sub only hours later?

I'm not here to criticize your use of suboxone. If you were prescribed this potent medication by a skilled medical provider these questions would have been covered prior to induction of this misunderstood and very potent medication. That said, you should have
No trouble with continuing your current dosing regimen. Once a Consistent level of bupe has been achieved lesser opiates or opioids will have little to no therapeutic value in attempting to starve off any possible withdrawal. As such you should have no problem resuming your current level of daily suboxone without fear of precipitated withdrawal symptoms from occurring. I'm sure you've already discovered the use of that one percocet had little effect, correct?
