You have to be in full withdrawal from all other narcotic/opiates, before you can start taking Suboxone.
It contains the active ingredients Buprenorphine and Naloxone and the Naloxone is used to neutralize other narcotics and prevent their abuse, while someone is being treated with it.
So, if you aren't already in withdrawals, it can throw you into severe dangerous withdrawals.
