Strongest 30 Mg Oxycodone - Kvk Vs Mallinckrodt Vs Rhodes (Page 7) (Top voted first)

Hi All,

I experience pretty severe neuropathic pain due to a spinal injury. I have a Baclofen pump which also contains hydromorphone but still get a lot of breakthrough pain. I've been taking oxycodone for 8ish yrs. and the pills I was prescribed those first few yrs. did a good job at treating the pain. I've had to change pharmacies and notice lately the oxycodone 30s I've been given lately do little or NOTHING! Especially the Mallinckrodt!

My doc prescribed 3 30mg pills a day but I had to munch 5 of the Mallinckrodts in a 4 hour period and still got barely any relief. I was worried I'd get constipated big time after taking that many pills several days in a row but I didn't (because they're so damn weak!) I don't know the mfg. of the oxys I was taking yrs ago but it may have been Actavis or KVK Tech. (although KVKs I was prescribed last mo. weren't much better than the Mallinckrodt).

My question is what brand do y'all think is the strongest 30mg oxycodone? My pharmacy has the KVK but I talked to another that carries Rhodes, are those any better? Thanks for any info!

I spent a few years complaining about aurobindo’s adderall And now they don’t make it anymore, which is great because it was absolute trash.

It's almost an initiation to hell. Make a long story is what I did a year ago. I called Walgreens to put this problem in their lap. I explained the "hunt" & I don't know what to do. So the very nice c/s person said she would explain to District manager & get back with me. To my shock the DM called me & said he spoke to pharmacist & ask them to fill my script & all the monthly ones I would bring. Hope this helps. Also refuse to accept Rhodes because they have not helped me 1 bit.

I recently began receiving the Rhodes oxygen 15s. They are not as good as the other brands that I have taken. They are harder to break in half evenly. They just don't do much for me.

You're insane. Kvk K9 30mg is better than anything out in the markets. Actavis blows. Mallinckrodt gives me a massive headache. Rhodes is junk and Alvogen is junk.

Why would you want any acetaminophen in a pain medication? All that does is eat up your liver over time. I would recommend that if you're truly in pain just take Oxycodone 10 mg..Mallinckrodt. (that is the correct spelling for the Mboxes by the way?) be prepared to go into shell shock because the price of the Mallies shot up over twice the price they were 6-12 months ago! Norcos, Percocet, etc..10/325mg that last number (325) is just as bad for your liver in doses of 1400mg a day. I want you to know one thing about the opiates you are taking, they work great for pain but please do not combine them with xanax or any other Benzdiazapams ...Because over a 6-12 month use of this combination daily in high doses you may find yourself unable to sleep without them and may develop Serum Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor (SSRI) THAT means that your brain/body has lost most of its capability to produce Serotonin which enables you to sleep. I say this for all of you out there doing this... STOP NOW or you will never know how it feels to get a good night's sleep again (NREM-Sleep). And by the way don't run out of your medication early. Just like my Doctor said you may feel like dying but you won't. What you will do is get the runs, be in a hell of a lot of mental anguish and the stomach cramps are terrible and your pain level will be off the charts. Make your medication last...Please for your sake do not take more than you NEED. GOD BLESS.

Rhodes IS PURE JUNK SINCE ITS A SIZE OF TRAMADOL 50mg so it's 8.5mm in diameter compared to 4.3mm KVK/Actavis/Qualitest. If Oxycodone 30 isn't blue it's not worth crap. KVK are the strongest on the market and are the smallest, Rhodes have lots of fillers 1/10 of a pill is Oxycodone Base 9/10 is crap and inactive ingredients. Tiny blue ones with all three manufacturers 3/4 is Oxycodone base and 1/4 fillers. You decide for yourself!!!

your nuts I been on everything from fentynal to tramadol have had shatterd pelvis 3 plates left hemi pelvis bone graph plus 2 plates in left arm snapped them in half have heterotopic bone growth 2 the 5th lumbar and 2 other diagnosis in my back.I'm on 30 mg of oxycodone by malli and I find them

I know one thing I've been taking the 30 mg Roxicodone for a long time and the cambe are the worst active not much better the best I found is the kvk T they're blue with a k 9. You also have to put into play how long you been on them. And you have built a tolerance. Nothing's as good as the first script that's just the way it is I haven't tried any others. If someone knows of something that works better please let me know

Interesting, I begged and pleaded w/my PM doc to up my daily oxycodone dose to AT LEAST 4 30mg pills a day instead of 3 but she wouldn't budge, said she could lose her license.

I used to take 800 mcg Fentora at one point but my ins. no longer covers it which really sucks, that stuff worked great, fast acting, good pain relief. BTW, mine too was a motorcycle accident.

Mallinckrodt opioid generics are always superb, and the APA agrees, got git the best generic manufacturer several times. The last ten years. Their hydromorphone and oxycodone tablets are the beta generics Nhave had. Has anyone any experience with their Oxymorphone and how does it compare with the Endo Opana grand? The Teva USA tablets (oval O1 and O2) are really weak compared with Endo E612/613.
Mallie's tablets, like Teva's, are the sme colours, blue 5mg and pink/red 10mg. I trust in that company's excellent drugs though, more than any other generics. (M367 is the best hydrocodone/apap 10mg I ever took, far better than Watson 853 and NORCO - which are exactly the same tablet with a different price tag depending on the imprint!)

Mallinckrodt Dilaudid sucks, period. It is 40% larger than Knoll or any other pharma. No other manufacturer provides such excess binder material. Besides,Mallincroft was shut down 3 times in the past 5 years for passing narc. meds with only an average of 24% of the psychoactive ingredient. As a result they cut the prices to hospitals and pharmacies. Who pays? If you're that stupid then vote for the nag bulldike Billary.

What state do you live in? I am in Connecticut and had to wean down my Oxycodone to 10 mgs TID from 130 mgs. I now use a "rice grain dose" of medical mj oil from the DCP medical mj program that is available to us. I have arachnoiditis nerve damage and I cannot take gabapentin or Lyrica due to the worst side effects ever. The oil is a bullet for ANY pain I have had. Not just nerve damage. I squeeze it into empty capsules they provide and it has NO side effects or constipation or weight gain; I actually lost over 26 pounds since using it. I know not all states have this but guess what? I lobbied for it in Connecticut. You have to do the same thing in your states IF you do not have it already. Nothing good comes knocking at your door. Now I am getting WORKERS COMP to pay for it as both are state programs (not Federal).

You have the 30mg Oxys backwards! Im a stage 4 CANCER PATIENT & im sure that i was & am sicker then u just to be BLUNT & HOW U SPEAK. YOU JUST WANT THE NEXT NEWEST THING OUT THERE! LET ME QUALIFY MYSELF IN MY PROFESSIONAL LIFE who has worked for abnumber of drug CO. As well as being a Pharmacist.The first 2 30mg Roxys thays you mentioned formulas have changed atleast 2 or 3 times in the past 10yrs mainly if you follow the companies changing hands & being bought out by a larger CONGLOMERATE THAT IS MAINLY KNOWN FOR GENERICS!?

SO THEY CAN HAVE UP TO A 20% WINDOW IN THE DROP IN THIS CASE OF THE AMOUNT OF "OXY" IN YOUR MEDS! THEY ARE GENERIC.PLZ DO SOME MORE REASEARCH CAUSE IT ALWAYS JUST NEEDS TO FOLLOW THE MONEY! THESE COMPANIES WILL CUT CORNERS WHERE EVER THEY CAN LEGALY JUST TO HELP THERE BOTTOM LINE!
